Puhoi Fire Station
Stage one, comprising of the piling, under-slab services, concrete floor and foundations was completed in February 2015 then the project went on hold until further funding could be secured. In late 2016, almost two years later, Woodview was approached by the Puhoi Fire Chief directly to continue construction under the project management of Auckland Rural Fire and Auckland Council. Woodview worked closely with the client to fine tune the design and identify any aspects of the build that could be altered to reduce cost. In July 2017 the building was handed over to the brigade and was the first fire station to be opened under the jurisdiction of the newly formed Fire and Emergency New Zealand.
