Another contract with Housing New Zealand this time consisting of a new roof and remedial works to one of their apartment buildings in Auckland’s CBD. This building is also one of a limited number of heritage buildings Woodview Construction has undertaken significant work on. The new roof consisted of a new structure with metal long run roofing with wide membrane gutters to three blocks along with a new roof structure with a full membrane roof to the additional block. While the remedial works were undertaken to remedy the leaking roof structure, windows and basement we also undertook maintenance and passive fire works that were required. The access of this project was unique with more then half the units still being occupied, we had to plan the works to suit all the tenants and ensure everything was still being completed in a timely manner.
