A single level SMNP bathroom extension to an existing administration block at Hamilton East school, of traditional build, concrete floor and foundations, timber frame, weather board and iron to the roof. The project was for the Ministry of Education, and was specifically designed to accommodate pupils with special requirements and specific needs. The interior and access was fully compliant with the disabilities specifications encompassing the interior fixtures. The second stage of the project was to refurbish the interior of the existing print room which was adjusted to make room for the extension. Overall a successful project with minimal disruption to the normal school routine.
